Concerts at first light
Sunrise on the Mount brings music into the moment of transition between night and day. The format is repeated each year: a chamber group or a soloist performs as behind the audience the line of the Adriatic horizon catches fire. The setting is the Orti dell'Arciprete, an inner garden of the historic centre sheltered by the surrounding houses, a few steps from the Basilica of Saint Marinus.
The repertoire spans classical music, jazz and crossovers, with a preference for compositions suited to the intimate scale of the venue. For many years the organisation has been entrusted to the Associazione Musicale Camerata del Titano, which selects the performers in collaboration with Italian and foreign musical institutions.

Where to enter
Access from the Orti dell'Arciprete, marked by temporary signage in the hours before each concert. Seats are limited and arriving early is advisable.

Even in summer, the air at first light is cool: an extra light layer is a prudent choice for the audience.

In the public car parks next to the historic centre. At five in the morning availability is wide.

Several cafés in the centre open early on the mornings of the series. A breakfast in front of Piazza della Libertà is a fitting close to the morning.
Camerata del Titano
The Associazione Musicale Camerata del Titano curates the series and announces the calendar of concerts on its social channels. The programme is published close to the summer season, with the names of the performers, the start time and the entry arrangements.
