A national religious holiday, is the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, it falls every year on the Thursday of the second week after Pentecost. In San Marino it is also a civil holiday that is celebrated with an institutional procession in which Captains Regent wear traditional dress and the collar of Grand Master of the Order of San Marino
