A small museum with 40 historical scenes and 100 characters in period settings and costumes from the thousand-year-old history of the Republic of San Marino and abroad.
There are the protagonists of the Italian Resurgence such as Giuseppe Garibaldi and Vittorio Emanuele, but also “key” characters and episodes in the history of San Marino: Antonio Onofri dealing with Napoleon, the Saint Marino in his first shelter dug in the rock.
There are two special thematic sections: one is dedicated to the characters of melodrama, the second to instruments of torture.
This museum, established in 1966, is known for being the first private museum created in the Republic of San Marino.
