Where it stands
Mount Cerreto is a wooded hill in the Castello of Acquaviva, north of Mount Titano. Here, between holm oaks, oaks and centuries-old hornbeams, winds the ecological oasis that hosts the adventure park. The isolated location guarantees silence and clean air, far from the tourist flows of the historic centre but at a short distance from accommodation facilities.
The park is reached by car from the Rimini Sud motorway exit in about thirty minutes, along the San Marino expressway, Acquaviva exit. A free car park in front can hold around eighty vehicles; a catering service with outdoor tables and equipped picnic areas is available for those who bring a packed lunch.
Five levels of difficulty
The park structures the courses on five levels of difficulty, identified by a colour system similar to that of ski slopes. Light green is dedicated to the youngest children, with heights of just a few metres and gentle passages between walkways, rope bridges and treehouses. As the level rises, height, course length and complexity of safety manoeuvres increase.
| Level | Recipients | Indicative height |
|---|---|---|
| Light green | Babies (24+ months) | 0.5 to 2 m |
| Green | Children 5+ years | 2 to 5 m |
| Blue | Teenagers | 5 to 10 m |
| Red | Adults and experienced teenagers | 10 to 18 m |
| Black | Trained experts | 18 to 25 m |
The black courses have evocative names: Inferno, Chimera, Super Incubo, Impossibile, Volo di Tarzan. The last closes with a leap from an artificial vine between two trees, more than twenty metres above the ground. All routes are certified with continuous lifeline and mandatory helmet; each participant receives a safety briefing before starting.
«Climbing an oak through a wooden platform is the first courage test that a child chooses on their own.»
Beyond the trees
At the park it is possible to organise jungle softair sessions with six themed missions in the woods, with logistical support and equipment provided by the facility. Archery is open to teenagers and adults, with dedicated instructors for beginners. On spring and summer weekends horseback excursions are proposed in the surrounding territory, in agreement with a local riding stable.
The park also hosts birthday parties for children, school trips and companies looking for team-building activities. Requests for dedicated packages should be submitted at least two weeks in advance.

Practical advice
Closed sports shoes, long trousers and short-sleeved t-shirt are recommended. For those bringing children under five, a light sweatshirt is useful even in summer, since the woods keep lower temperatures than the plain. Booking is not mandatory on weekdays in low season, but is needed for weekends in July and August.
Those who include the park in a longer stay can combine it with the itinerary of 5 things to do with children between San Marino and Romagna or with the Children's tour. The historic centre is ten minutes away by car and is comfortably reached even in the evening for dinner.
